1/48 scale Dolls House Suppliers - for Wargamers

Given the success of the Dolls House church I have looked out for other purveyors of 1/48 scale dolls houses and other paraphernalia.

As I have stated 1/48 is perfect for 28mm,

I thought the blog might be a great opportunity to share with you some of the resources I have found to date that are based in the UK.

A simple table with links and comments might work best and I'll add to this as I progress

  1. Wowwee - those are amazing (especially the first link). And so reasonably priced, too, for what you get.

  2. Let's just say that the folder Traders in my Favourite Web Sites has just grown considerably. Thanks for these, I had never seen any of these shops before.

  3. A fabulous list, thank you! I was looking at a trifle small the other day, but they didn't have the items in stock I was after. They did list S&D Models as their supplier, who I was then able to order directly from - superb service. Perhaps a little large for 28mm, but the beehive I ordered (don't ask!) would be fine on the table.

  4. Thanks for the list - there must be a few dolls house companies wondering why their order books have suddenly exploded!

  5. Would you like us to reference you when we order? "I found your website through shedwars" kind of thing?

  6. A mate just pointed out the link to the petitepropertiesltd... I could be tempted by these for my EotD gaming, but am just a little wary of the scale being accurate, do you have any links to images of these buildings alongside minis?

  8. Thanks for sharing the information - a couple in the list I didn't know about. I recently finished some of the petite properties furniture - fiddly to assemble but look great when done.

  9. Thanks for the list, especially for Petite Properties, which has some very cool stuff!

I found your list because I was doing the same thing, looking for 1/48 stuff to go with 28mm minis. I found this that's UK-based:

(has some great looking stuff from a variety of historical periods/styles, including a "Shakespeare’s desk kit"!)

and just for reference, US & Canada based ones...

    (a huge variety of accessories)

(has a couple of gems for fantasy/historical type settings: an engraved trunk, an intricately engraved market cart, and a REALLY INTRICATELY engraved "gypsy wagon")

    1. Ooops, that's what I get for browsing the internet on too little sleep. Petworth isn't UK-based after all, it's Canada-based.
